Possibly! Our service availability depends on your location and current scheduling. Reach out with your ZIP code to ask whether we can provide services in your area. As we expand our team of occupational therapists, so will the services areas where mobile OT is available.
How does virtual occupational therapy work?
WeDiverge offers virtual occupational therapy for adults living in Texas and Michigan. We’ll connect you with an occupational therapist licensed in your state who can work with you on the everyday activities and challenges that matter to you.
Your OT evaluation and therapy sessions will take place through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, so you can access support from the comfort of your own home.
Is an autism or ADHD diagnosis required?
No. You don’t necessarily need an autism or ADHD diagnosis to receive occupational therapy at WeDiverge. We support individuals experiencing challenges with everyday activities, whether or not they have a formal diagnosis.
However, insurance coverage varies by plan. Some insurance plans require a qualifying medical diagnosis or other documentation for occupational therapy services to be covered. If you’re using insurance, we recommend checking your plan’s requirements before getting started. We can also discuss self-pay options if your insurance doesn’t cover the services you’re seeking.
